Hair that is 21 inches or longer. The lighter the hair is the more expensive it is. The price for 18 inches compared to 21 inches will be much lower. If your hair is less than 20 inches long it might be better to wait a few more months before selling it.
We only buy virgin hair. Virgin hair is hair that’s never been colored, highlighted, treated with chemicals and has no heat damage. We only accept light brown and blonde hair. We buy men, women and children’s hair of Caucasian ethnicity only.
Yes. Children’s virgin, light hair is the most valuable hair in the world and we pay the most for it.
We do not accept chemically treated hair including henna. We don’t accept dark brown or black hair. We don’t accept hair shorter than 16 inches.
The hair is used to make wigs for cancer, alopecia and hair loss patients who are in desperate need of wigs that look just like their natural hair. We have constant, high demand for quality hair. The hair used for wig making always loses 5 inches in length during the wig making process. A collection of 20 inch ponytails might make a wig that is 12-14 inches long.
We evaluate hair for pricing based on:
– Quality
– Color
– Age of donor – Weight
No. You won’t be able to get an accurate weight reading before the hair is cut.
Divide your hair into 4 ponytails that are each tightly secured with a few elastics before cutting. We cannot accept loose hair. After cutting the hair place it in a ziploc bag. We will send you a PayPal payment and you can mail the hair to us.
Yes, however at the moment we only need blonde and light brown hair. For donated hair we are able to accept hair that is 12 inches or longer.
